I really enjoyed how even though the queens were all clearly unfamiliar with DnD rules they were all such natural role players. Like those spell descriptions and the hitting on npcs in taverns? Perfect. And the emotional beats hit hard.
I also loved how there was no shame in not knowing the rules. I don't like being bad at anything even in front of myself and they created this space where it was fun and safe to be learning on the fly. I loved the part where Bob wanted to walk back telling Gertrude's secret and Brennan made it a deception/perception roll and it led to this amazing character beat.
I know this is the dimension 20 season where PC stats and such aren't as important for us the audience to know since this is likely the queens/players first d&d game and rule of cool and imagination will (and should) supersede RAW mechanics but the data nerd in me is like... what're their subclasses?? PC stats?? are the queens' roleplaying reflecting their PC stats or nah? did they get any feats?? I'm just a curious nerd who's too into character creation lol
